The third iteration of the Brentwood Summer Block Party series kicks off July 16th bringing back crowd favorites and adding unique themes to each event weekend throughout the summer.

In keeping with Grosvenor ’s ongoing commitment to supporting local artists while creating meaningful community experiences, the recurring series will bring together talented chefs, artists and musicians from Burnaby and beyond for a summer of neighbourhood-oriented fun.

The series will be held over three weekends in July and August at the future Grosvenor development site in Burnaby, with weekends geared towards friends, families and four legged companions – there will be something for everyone!

The series will feature art by SNAG – Alternative Contemporary Arts a community of artists bringing together Vancouver’s emerging and established artistic talent through live art demonstrations and subsequent raffle draws of pieces.

This year brings back a pop-up art gallery hosted by Benjamin Lumb Art House | BLAH, featuring a range of  contemporary installation in a variety of mediums produced by talented Canadian artists, and an immersive art room created by local artist Siloh.

The Grosvenor future development site also houses a 4,000 sq. ft mural titled ‘The Pursuit of Chance’ by talented Vancouver artist Drew Young; Young is also the curator of both SNAG and Siloh’s immersive art room.
